Hear 'League Of Legends' Virtual Metal Band Pentakill's Soaring New Songs

We know a lot of you metalheads are pretty big gamers and that's what makes Pentakill so unique. Most of the skins are now Legacy skins, some are still regular league of legends skins. It's great for an old rocker like myself to be a part of this modern gaming music world, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great team of talented people.

Smite and Ignite is a metal album by the fictional band Pentakill from Riot Games , the developer of the video game League of Legends The band features a series of characters from the video game, and the album features songs based and named on items from it as well.

After ferrying Karthus back to Valoran, Yorick decided to join him, create a ' awesome' band, and unleash their terrifying symphony on the unsuspecting living masses. League of Legends” is a product of Riot Games and the company's project lead for Pentakill, Viranda Tantula, provided some answers below.

Lyrically the songs are made specifically to fit the League of Legends” concept, and even though they might work also in real life symbolically, it wouldn't feel natural to perform more than one song or a shorter medley if it was a part of a Jorn or Avantasia live set.

After the disastrous end to their last live performance, where Mordekaiser destroyed the entirety of the Freljordian crowd, Karthus gave the fateful order for Olaf to drum the Worldsplitter Rhythm” that sundered the land and brought down the icy realm's highest peak upon Mordekaiser.

Karthus, Sona, Mordekaiser, Yorick, and Olaf are all due newer variations of their Pentakill skins and since this new album is already looking to be darker, hopefully, they'll be even more metal-inspired than before. His classical mace was adapted to the axe-guitar which is a very clever turn of the Riot Games. It's a metal band whose music goes perfectly playing in the background as you rack up kills in the Summoner's Rift. Three years have passed since the release of their debut album, but the fictional band Pentakill is back with some very real heavy metal music.

In 2014 the Riot label issued the band's first foray out of the video game realm, an eight-track collection of appropriately punishing songs titled Smite and Ignite that relied on the talents of session musicians, including vocalists Jorn Lande (Masterplan) and ZP Theart (Dragonforce).

Like before I've been working closely with the great Riot Games team in LA, and this time around we are aiming for a full length album with Karthus as captain of the vocal ship.
